Pic 1-When sanding and looking over the piece watch for slightly raised circles. When you find one apply pressure see if it’s filled with air of just a drop of resin or something else.
Pic 2-If it colapses in Congratulations! You found an air bubble. Now go over the whole bumper (in this case) and find them all!

Pic 3-Now dig it out, fill it, sand it, primer and repeat if necessary.
After over 5 hours on the front bumper it went into primer. It had the usual imperfections found in most fiberglass kits and took some time to correct them. “Ready to paint” is almost never the case. Your typical shop would sand lightly and spray but I prefer taking the extra time to make it right. Just a few minor defects left to fix and it will be fitted to the car. As one goes out another comes in. Karim’s G35 arrived Friday. We have some damage to repair before doing some kustom work with his full kit and a little extra paintwork. Watch that road rage K! Just playin
